    Meet the Artist

    Picture
Clara "Shadow" Debnam, was born and reared in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is the youngest of nine.  Her creative abilities were recognized at an early age.  From elementary, to the day she graduated college, she was known as "the girl who could draw".

She reflects on a distant memory:
It [Art] began in Kindergarten...at the Art station.  There I restlessly stood putting the finishing touches on my stuffed rabbit, made from construction paper.  In the background I can still hear the voice of Ms. Jones "Clara, it's time to change stations."  But I didn't want to change, or at least not until my rabbit was complete.

Known to many as "Shadow", Clara Debnam lives and works in Winston- Salem, North Carolina, where she can be found refining her talent in her down time.  She credits her creative ability as a gift inherited through her father, but sent from God.
